The matching between ultrasonic generator and transducer includes two aspects. One is to make the generator output rated power to the transducer by matching. This is because the generator needs an optimal load to output rated power.
The impedance of the transducer is transformed into the optimal load, i.e. the function of impedance conversion; the second is that the output efficiency of the generator is the highest by matching, which is due to the electrostatic reactance of the transducer, resulting in a certain phase difference between the output voltage and the current at the working frequency, thus the output power can not get the desired maximum output, and the output efficiency of the generator is reduced, so that the output efficiency of the generator is transmitted in the generator. The output end is connected in parallel or in series with an opposite resistance, so that the generator load is pure resistance, that is, tuning effect. It can be seen that matching directly affects the generation and efficiency of power ultrasonic source.
